The results are in from Week 1 of the PBR Fishing Tournament!
We had 17 submissions during Week 1 of the tournament, which spanned from Sunday June 12th - Saturday June 18th.
Congratulations to Keith Darrow (Striped Bass), Max Dispoto (Fluke) and Michael Larson (Bluefish) for submitting the largest catch in each division! Weekly division winners are awarded $300 cash prize that will be distributed at the end of the month.
The 2016 Standings showing the overall leaderboard in each division is also now updated on the website! The standings show the top 3 leaders for the overall final tournament prize in each division. The final tournament prize is awarded to the angler with the largest aggregate length of fish -- where the aggregate length is the sum of the top 3 catches submitted. The standings leaderboard will be updated weekly. Congrats to Keith Lee, Max Dispoto and Michael Larson for topping the leaderboards this week!
Rule Notice: Please be advised that there is a tournament rule that fish entries must be submitted to us within 12 hours of the time of catch. We cannot accept an entry that was submitted after that time frame. If you can not get to a computer within 12 hours of the catch, shoot us an e-mail letting us know the details of the fish and when you will be able to submit the form online.
We know your priority is fishing and not photography but we can't accept your entry if we can't verify the fish length based on the photo your send in! Follow these tips for getting a great picture to ensure your entry is counted:
Helpful Dos & Don't's for Submitting a Fish:
Please use your PBR Ruler for measurement. The numbers are large and easy for us to read.
Take a photo of the entire fish with the ruler lined up so that we can see very clearly how long the fish is.
Try and take the photo from directly above the fish, as opposed to at an angle
Make sure the photo is not blurry
if you are not at risk of endangering the life of the fish, please take a photo of yourself with the fish as well!
